What is it?

CM Mod Option Selector (CMMOS) is a replacement for the batch files used to
select between various options of Marco Bergman and Gordon Molek's (among
others) mod packages.  It replaces the sometimes complex and hard to
maintain system of batch files with a simple, intuitive and fast way to
select between particular option sets (for instance, Canadian markings or US
Army low visibility markings). In addition, by separating the logic
originally contained in the batch files from the BMPs comprising the mods,
the possibility for incompatibilities between various mods is removed.

What do I need to do before I can use it?

You need to make sure that you've downloaded and installed (using CM Mod
Manager, or by manually unzip'ing) either the hi-res (CMMOS_Fixes_hr.zip) or
low-res (CMMOS_Fixes_lr.zip) "patch" mod that provides correctly named BMPs
for several of the older batch file mods that had some incorrectly named
BMPs.  Failure to do so will result in incomplete transformation of several
of the older mods by CMMOS.

How do I use it?

Start the program, select the tab for the category you're interested in
("Commonwealth vehicles", for instance), click one of the cool, colorful
icons representing the transformation you want to perform ("Polish Army", or
my favorite, "British Army camouflage") and click the "Apply" button.
That's it, get back to the game.

Don't forget to read the "Readme.rtf" that's included in the installation
package.

Note: A filename which ends in "hr" designates a High Res Mod while one which ends in "lr" designates a Low Res or default resolution set. Also note that these mods average in size between 2 and 11 megs!

"Fixes" for some of the early batch file mods to resolve naming inconsistencies. REQUIRED to ensure proper handling of the existing Commonwealth and US/Free French transformations. You only have to download the high res ("_hr") or low res
