Wednesday, November 10, 1999The CombatHQ will be hosting a Live Chat with Steve Grammont of Battlefront.com on Friday the 12th of November at 9pm New York Time ( that is 2am GMT for all of us Europeans). Details can be found on the TGN main page and will be posted here tomorrow for anyone wishing to attend. The CombatHQ is pleased to announce the commencement of posting of new After Action Reports from an ongoing match up between Peter Tyson and Brian Corkill. Brian is commanding the American defense in Last Defense while Peter is commanding the Panzergrenadiers and tanks attempting to effect a breakthrough. At present the first five turn reports and accompanying movie files have been uploaded. At least one new turn's reports and movies will be uploaded each day from now on so be sure to come back daily to follow this battle. Tomorrow will see the uploading of the first three turns of my Last Defense battle against Lee Contini. Lee commanded the German forces while I directed the defense and explored some of the options facing the American defender. I think this AAR will be useful in showing how carefully considered offensive action can bolster any defense and in showing ambushes in action.
